2013 calendar year
ended with ZERO adoptable cats and dogs being euthanized in the 3 FM Metro area
pounds we help rescue from. We are thrilled beyond words that for the very
first time in the history of these three cities we can call them No-Kill
cities.
We want to thank
everyone who has supported us along the way. Every single volunteer who has
poured their sweat and tears into helping us maintain our shelter, every
donation of cat food, toys, litter, blankets, and supplies, every monetary
donation, every discount from suppliers, every pound employee who has worked
with us, every local rescue that has taken an animal from the pound (cat OR
dog), every adopter who has given our little loves a home, and YOU, every
single one of YOU, who has been our friend on facebook, voted for us in
contests and shared our posts. We could not have done this with out each and
every one of you. A very special thank you goes out to Nuhket Hendricks and
Heather Clyde from the Humane Society
Fargo-Moorhead because without their trust in us when we were the new
kids on the block, we would not have had access the Fargo pound where there
were hundreds of cats being euthanized prior to our shelter opening. We are all
working hard together to make this a kinder and gentler community through our
mission to save these animals.
